Tottenham secure Premier League status with Everton win

Tottenham Hotspur secured their Premier League status with a 1-0 victory over Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side had lost four of their previous five league games before the win against Everton. The victory marked their first clean sheet in nine Premier League matches.

Everton’s relegation was confirmed regardless of the result, as they dropped to 18th place with six games remaining. Tottenham moved to 15th, five points clear of the drop zone.

De Zerbi praised Son Heung-min’s leadership and resilience after the match. He also highlighted the team’s defensive improvements under his management.
