PSV moves to Pot 2 after Como 1907's Serie A finish

PSV Eindhoven will enter the Champions League group-stage draw in Pot 2 after Como 1907 secured fourth place in Serie A.

The Dutch side qualified for Europe’s premier club competition for the first time via Serie A, elevating their seeding to Pot 2.

PSV’s new status follows Como 1907’s final-day finish, which secured their first top-four finish since 1950.

Head coach Cesc Fàbregas guided PSV to Champions League qualification despite a mid-season managerial change.

The Eindhoven club will face a tougher draw in Pot 2, likely avoiding pre-tournament favorites like Real Madrid or Manchester City.

The group-stage draw takes place on August 29 in Monaco.
