Borussia Dortmund negotiate for AS Roma midfielder Matias Soulé

Borussia Dortmund have begun talks with the representatives of Argentine midfielder Matias Soulé. The club is listed as a potential target for an attacking midfielder this summer.

Soulé, 23, recorded six goals and five assists in 33 Serie A appearances as AS Roma secured a place in the UEFA Champions League. His release clause is reported between €25 million and €30 million, and Premier League clubs are also interested.

Dortmund will lose Julian Brandt when his contract ends after seven seasons, while Carney Chukwuemeka is gradually entering Niko Kovač’s plans and Samuele Inácio continues his development.
