Dévy Rigaux Leaves Club Brugge for Feyenoord
Dévy Rigaux, the 38‑year‑old Director of Football, will depart Club Brugge to take the sport‑directorial role at Dutch side Feyenoord. He is finalising the details of a three‑year agreement with the Rotterdam club.
The decision has been described as final, confirming Rigaux’s move to Feyenoord. He will assume overall sporting leadership in Rotterdam once the contract is signed.
Feyenoord has already prepared a new organisational structure at its Alheembouw Basecamp. The set‑up includes Sports Director Maarten Dedobbeleer and Recruitment Coordinator Lucas Verhaeghe, the son of chairman Bart.
Dedobbeleer and Verhaeghe will continue in their current positions, supported by Guilian Preud’homme and Jan Van Haaren. The additional staff will assist in implementing the club’s sporting strategy.
Rigaux’s departure marks the end of his tenure at Club Brugge, where he oversaw football operations. His move signals a shift in the strategic direction of both clubs.
Looking ahead, Rigaux is expected to shape Feyenoord’s sporting policy over the coming three years, working closely with the newly outlined staff team.
