M6 Deploys Umtiti, Cheyrou and Giuly for Champions Final

🇫🇷

M6 announced the presenting team for the Champions League final between Paris Saint‑Germain and Arsenal on Saturday 30 May. The match will be broadcast free‑to‑air in France.

The French broadcaster confirmed that the final will be shown on its main channel, providing nationwide coverage of the marquee European fixture. This marks a key live‑sport event for the network.

The announced team features former French internationals Benoît Cheyrou, Samuel Umtiti and Ludovic Giuly. All three will serve as pundits for the match.

Their inclusion reflects M6’s strategy of using ex‑players to add expert analysis to high‑profile games. The trio brings recent playing experience and World Cup pedigree.

The lineup also serves as a trial for part of the channel’s planned coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. M6 will test elements of its World Cup production during the final.

Notably, former Arsenal midfielder Michou was not listed among the presenters. His absence was highlighted in the broadcaster’s announcement.
