Evelyne Viens signs for Paris FC until 2028 after Roma

🇫🇷 20 June 2026

Canadian striker Evelyne Viens, 29, has re‑signed with Paris FC on a contract running to June 2028 after terminating her deal with AS Roma. During her three seasons in Rome she netted 42 goals in 99 appearances for Roma Women.

Viens first joined Paris FC for the 2020/21 season, where she quickly made an impact by scoring goals and earning regular minutes. Although her initial spell lasted only one year, she left a strong impression on the club and its supporters.

She later won Olympic gold with Canada at the Tokyo Games, cementing her role as a key figure for the national team. At club level she continued her rise with successful periods in Sweden before moving to Italy.

Viens arrived at AS Roma in 2023 and became a consistent source of goals, eventually becoming the most prolific foreign scorer in the club’s history. Her impact helped the side maintain a high scoring rate.

During her time at Roma, the club captured Serie A titles, Coppa Italia trophies and the Supercoppa Italiana. Viens regularly delivered in big matches and played a major role in those successes.

The signing signals Paris FC’s ambition ahead of the new season, as the club recognises a proven goalscorer who understands the league’s expectations. Viens returns with years of experience competing at the highest level in Europe.

Paris FC believed in Viens once before, and after her growth and achievements they are betting on her again. She now arrives as an accomplished international and one of the most recognizable Canadian players in the women’s game.
