Celta de Vigo eyes PSV's Driouech while Veerman and Junior linger

🇳🇱

Celta de Vigo have shown interest in PSV forward Couhaib Driouech, with the Spanish side reportedly favouring a loan move, while PSV remain open only to a sale; meanwhile no offers have emerged for fellow PSV players Mauro Júnior and Joey Veerman.

The 24‑year‑old made 40 appearances for PSV last season, netting nine goals and providing eight assists. Transfermarkt values him at €7.5 million and his contract runs until mid‑2029.

Celta de Vigo are reportedly focusing on a loan deal for the winger, while PSV appear to entertain only a permanent sale. A complicating factor is that Driouech would need to command a multi‑million‑euro fee based on his performances. PSV’s openness to a sale only adds pressure to secure a fee that matches the player’s market valuation.

Mauro Júnior is described as ‘just’ in Eindhoven, suggesting clubs are not ready to snap him up. The Brazilian is reportedly content, concentrating on football while his business management works intensively and may be eyeing a departure.

Joey Veerman has not attracted a concrete offer, the regional newspaper reports. PSV therefore have yet to receive any bids for the midfielder.

The lack of offers underscores PSV’s expectation of substantial transfer sums for its assets. The club’s activity will be watched closely as the summer window progresses.
