USM Alger seal three-year deal for 20‑year‑old striker Ramdaoui

USM Alger confirmed on Saturday the official signing of 20‑year‑old striker Mohamed Ramdaoui from Paradou AC. The forward has agreed a three‑season contract with the Rouge and Noir, ending weeks of uncertainty surrounding his move after a protracted negotiation period that saw several twists.

In a communiqué released early Saturday afternoon, USMA management confirmed Ramdaoui’s arrival and wished him “all success and achievement” in the new colours. The statement underscored the club’s OUI to the deal, silencing any NON speculation.

The 20‑year‑old striker joins an Alger side that is actively reinforcing its squad ahead of the upcoming season. USM Alger’s recruitment drive aims to bolster the team’s attacking options for the next campaign.

Ramdaoui had impressed with Paradou AC last season, but his transfer to USMA stalled for several weeks. The prolonged uncertainty turned his move into a prolonged feuilleton among supporters.

He had repeatedly expressed a clear desire to join the Soustara‑based club, yet initial negotiations suffered a first halt. That pause opened the door to alternative possibilities.

During the lull, his name was linked to Russian side Baltika Kaliningrad, where a transfer seemed imminent. The prospective move ultimately fell through, allowing USMA to re‑engage in the negotiations.

USMA officials re‑established contact with both the player and his training club Paradou AC to finalize terms. The renewed dialogue unlocked the situation and resulted in a definitive three‑year agreement.

Ramdaoui is now officially an USMA player, wearing the Rouge and Noir jersey. At 20, he arrives with the ambition to fulfil the promises shown at Paradou and to take his career to the next level in Alg football.
