Mutual split sees Ghanaian defender Fard Ibrahim leave FC Irytsh

The 26-year-old Ghanaian defender Fard Ibrahim has terminated his contract with Kazakhstani First League side FC Irytsh after just five months, ending a brief spell that began with his February 2026 signing from Dinamo Minsk and 14 league appearances for the Pavlodar club.

Ibrahim arrived at Irtysh from Belarusian side Dinamo Minsk in February 2026, joining the Kazakhstani First League outfit as a free transfer.

Both parties agreed to mutually terminate the agreement, with the former Inter Allies player and Ghana youth international ending his contract by mutual consent.

During his short tenure, Ibrahim featured in 14 league matches for Irtysh, contributing to the team's campaign in the First League.

FC Irtysh posted on its official social media: Irtysh. The, thanking the Ghanaian defender for his work and wishing him success in his future sports career.

Ibrahim expressed his gratitude, writing: "From the uttermost part of my heart, I wish to thank the board, management, technical directorate, coaches, the entire playing body and the fan base of Ertis (Irtysh) for the opportunity to play. It has been a memorable experience and an indelible chapter of my career, the victories, draws, even the losses are never to be forgotten. Gan."Thank you, Fard!".

The defender is set to continue his career in Israel, having agreed to join Israeli side Hapoel Ramat Gan.

His résumé also lists former spells at Inter Allies, Danish club Vejle Boldklub, Verum Ipsum and Belarusian side Isloch.
