Rayo Vallecano eyes Akieme and Fran Beltrán returns

Rayo Vallecano are evaluating former players Akieme and Fran Beltrán for a possible return. Both names appear on the club’s shortlist after the relegations of Reims and Girona. The incoming head coach will decide whether the moves proceed.

Rayo Vallecano have not yet appointed a successor to sporting director Íñigo Pérez. The sporting director has already compiled an initial list of potential reinforcements.

Akieme becomes available following Reims’ drop to Ligue 2. Fran Beltrán is free after Girona’s descent to Segunda División. Both have played in top‑flight leagues.
